On February 27 and 28, 2023, a delegation from the University of Zakho, consisting of Dr. Lokman A. Abdulkareem, Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Dler A. Jameel, Director of Quality Assurance, and Dr. Nizar I. Ali, Director of the International Relations Affairs, participated in WP5 workshop within the APPRAIS project in Erbil. Throughout the event, Dler A. Jameel and Dr. Nizar I. Ali delivered a seminar concerning the strategies and plans of the University of Zakho aimed at developing educational programs.

In Erbil City, the activity was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Aram M. Qadir, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in KRG, in which it discussed numerous matters related to educational programs.

Noteworthy, the project is organized by the European Union. Moreover, eight (8) universities of the Kurdistan Region, and the Ministry of Higher Education, cooperated in the aforementioned project.
